It all began…

The construction fence went up!

They started to get the ground ready and we got excited!

They set up trailers for the workers.

We had a groundbreaking ceremony!

The construction began and we started to see the changes!

Beam Ceremony

People from the community came to sign a beam. This was the final piece of steel!

We had a special ceremony to celebrate the steel part being finished!

They lifted our beam to the top of the school!

They placed a tiny tree on top!

Inside the trailer they checked the plans and prepared for each step in the building process.

Exterior walls were taking shape around our courtyard.

Last summer the bricks were placed on the exterior of our school.

    • 114 students transferring from Swallow Union
  • 6 classrooms at each grade level (budget dependent)
    • 5 classroom teachers transferring from Swallow Union
    • Special education teachers and paraprofessionals transferring from Swallow Union (determined by student need)
    • Specialist subject teachers (art, music, phys ed.) being shared with Swallow Union

  • Classroom assignments early August
