Submit District BSA Application.

Complete YPT & Merit Badge Counselor Training.

Submit RSJ Merit Badge Counselor Information Form

The District Merit Badge Counselor Coordinator will review the paperwork and confirm the training is complete.

  • If the training is complete, the District Coordinator will forward the application to the District Executive
  • If the training is INCOMPLETE, the District Coordinator will email the prospective counselor what needs to be corrected.

If the District Executive approves, they will send the information to the Council.

  • After the Council inputs the information, the District Coordinator will check Scoutbook for accuracy.
  • If accurate, the District Coordinator will email the applicant that they are certified to sign off merit badges.

The list of counselors will now be on Scoutbook.
