  • Request Canvas course early
  • Import course materials from a previous semester
  • Update all dates in your course
  • Verify gradebook setup correctly
  • Verify links work using Link Validator
  • Check that all modules & module content are published, visible to students

  • Disable tools not being used
  • Reorder enabled tools in order of use
  • Run the accessibility checker on Canvas Pages
  • Email students a Welcome message
