Scheduling FAQs

  • I’m not sure which classes to take next year. What do I do?
    • Talk with your current teachers to find out if they have specific recommendations for you- they know your skill level the best! Read through the course catalog and watch the course videos posted on the scheduling webpage for more information on specific classes.
  • What if I change my mind? Am I locked into the classes I submit in my course request?
    • You will need to contact your counselor to make any schedule changes after March 11. No changes can be made after the first week of the new school year. Please do not request schedule changes unless you are absolutely sure so that counselors do not have to make changes multiple times.
  • When can I meet with my counselor about my schedule?
    • Counselors will be available 1-on-1 on February 26 to discuss schedules with students.
  • Am I guaranteed to get the courses I request?
    • For the most part, students are able to take the courses they request. However, sometimes there are scheduling conflicts and students will have to choose between two classes.
  • Can I make teacher requests or choose which hour I have certain classes?
    • No.
