"The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future." – Theodore Roosevelt
"Geography is the study of earth as the home of people." – Yi-Fu Tuan
Humanities at a Year 7 Cambridge level is an interdisciplinary study that explores the complex interactions between human societies and their environments. It encompasses both History and Geography, allowing students to examine historical events, cultural developments, and geographical processes.
Through the study of History, students investigate significant events, movements, and ideologies that have shaped the modern world.
In Geography, they explore the physical and human aspects of the planet, including development issues, climate change, and global patterns.
This integrated approach helps students understand the interconnectedness of past and present, fostering critical thinking and a deeper appreciation of how human actions influence both historical and contemporary global contexts.
