April 14 – Day of Silence
The Day of Silence is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies all around the world take a vow of silence to protest the harassment, bullying, and discrimination of LGBTQ+ people in schools.
This year, the Day of Silence theme is Rising Up. As part of that theme, LGBTQ+ people and allies are choosing a day of NO silence because LGBTQ+ people deserve to proudly be themselves.

we will take a moment of silence now.
After our moment of silence, I will ring our bell.
Then, let’s break our silence by proudly saying “Rainbow Club Rocks!” all together!
