Benefits for the Students, Families and Staff

  • Students receive an increase in individual meetings to support post grad work.
  • Families have multiple points of contact/resources for different needs.
  • With responsibilities divided between 2 people there’s more time for student/staff interaction.
  • This model allows our team to focus on the growth and development of each specialty area: SEL/Mental Health and ACP (Academic and Career Planning). Each team member bringing passion and experience to their focus area.

Benefits for the Students, Families and Staff cont.

  • We are able to grow our professional knowledge as we are not spread thin trying to cover many different types of tasks. It’s not necessary to train both of us on ADHD, Skyward, and state assessment platforms.
  • Students and staff are supported with a consistency in systems, processes, and scope and sequence of the specialty area. There’s no longer a changeover at different levels.
  • Increased Scholarship work, awareness, and creation.
  • More availability for drop-ins and behavior supports.
