In some cases, these advertisements could stick with them when they’re adults!

Advertisements with nicotine and alcohol like Juuls or Bud Light can have big repercussions on children and teens. Nicotine and alcohol advertisements commonly target the vulnerabilities of youth, showing them their products improve self-image, influencing children to use their products.

Propaganda is a form of biased communication. Propaganda is closely related to out-of-context messages, but not quite. For example, sometimes an ad says something that people might mistake for something else—that is propaganda.
