How can we change to be

in accordance to Christ’s approach!

لان ابن الانسان قد جاء لكي يطلب و يخلص ما قد هلك. (لو 19: 10)

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)

وان يكرز باسمه بالتوبة ومغفرة الخطايا لجميع الامم مبتدا من اورشليم. ( لو 24: 47)

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luk 24:47)

(1) يجلس أولاً

ومن منكم وهو يريد ان يبني برجا لا يجلس اولا ويحسب النفقة هل عنده ما يلزم لكماله. (لو 14: 28)

For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it. (Luke 14:28)

و اي ملك ان ذهب لمقاتلة ملك اخر في حرب لا يجلس اولا و يتشاور هل يستطيع ان يلاقي بعشرة الاف الذي ياتي عليه بعشرين الفا. (لو 14: 31)

Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?(Luke 14 : 31)

وبعد ذلك عين الرب سبعين اخرين ايضا وارسلهم اثنين اثنين امام وجهه الى كل مدينة وموضع حيث كان هو مزمعا ان ياتي (لو 10 : 1)

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. (Luk 10:1)

فانه ستاتي ايام ويحيط بك اعداؤك بمترسة ويحدقون بك ويحاصرونك من كل جهة. ( لو 19: 43)

For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side. (Luk 19:43)

How does Jesus Christ address challenges?

وفي اليوم التالي ذهب الى مدينة تدعى نايين وذهب معه كثيرون من تلاميذه و جمع كثير. فلما اقترب الى باب المدينة اذا ميت محمول ابن وحيد لامه وهي ارملة ومعها جمع كثير من المدينة.

Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow and a large crowd from the city was with her.

فلما راها الرب تحنن عليها وقال لها لا تبكي. ثم تقدم و لمس النعش فوقف الحاملون فقال ايها الشاب لك اقول قم. فجلس الميت و ابتدا يتكلم فدفعه الى امه.(لو 7 : 11-15)

When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep". Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise". So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. (Luk 7: 11-15)

هل تنتظر أن يطلب منك أحد؟؟؟

Do you wait for somebody to ask you???

هل تنشغل بالجمع الكثير؟؟؟

Do you get too preoccupied with the crowds???

هل تقف عاجزا أمام مشكلة؟؟؟

Do you feel helpless when facing any challenge???

Do you come near … and touch the coffin???

هل توقف مسيرة اليائسين؟؟؟

Are you ready to stop the desperate stride???

Do you believe in the power of the Resurrection???

هل تثق في قوة القيامة؟؟؟

واذا امراة في المدينة كانت خاطئة اذ علمت انه متكئ في بيت الفريسي جاءت بقارورة طيب. ووقفت عند قدميه من ورائه باكية وابتدات تبل قدميه بالدموع

And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears

وكانت تمسحهما بشعر راسها وتقبل قدميه وتدهنهما بالطيب. فلما راى الفريسي الذي دعاه ذلك تكلم في نفسه قائلا لو كان هذا نبيا لعلم من هذه الامراة التي تلمسه و ما هي انها خاطئة. (لو 7 : 37 -39)

and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed [them] with the fragrant oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, "This man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner“

(Luk 7: 37-39)

هل تتقن فن الحوار من أجل التغيير؟؟؟

Do you have the skill of communication for the sake of an affecting change???

هل تتحدى الأفكار المزيفة ؟؟؟

Are you ready to challenge false ideas???

هل تستطيع أن تحرك الثوابت ؟؟؟

Are you ready to change rigid concepts???

هل تخاف من التغيير؟؟؟

Are you afraid of change???

فقال لهم يسوع لا حاجة لهم ان يمضوا اعطوهم انتم لياكلوا (مت 14 : 16)

But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat“ (Mat 14:16)

هل تسمع للمخدوم أم تتجاهل رأيه؟؟؟

Do you listen to those you serve or do you ignore their opinions???

هل ممكن يكون طلبه مقبولا؟؟؟

Are you ready to accept their requests???

Why did Jesus Christ ask for his name???

لماذا سأله عن اسمه ؟؟؟

لماذا قبل الطلب بدخول الخنازير ؟؟؟

Why did He accept the request to enter the swine???

لماذا رفض الطلب بأن يكون معه دائما ؟؟؟

Why did He reject his request to be always with Him???

اما الرجل الذي خرجت منه الشياطين فطلب اليه ان يكون معه ولكن يسوع صرفه . (لو 8 : 38)

Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away. (Luk 8 : 38)

4 – With whatever limited resources!

فاخذ الارغفة الخمسة و السمكتين و رفع نظره نحو السماء و باركهن ثم كسر و اعطى التلاميذ ليقدموا للجمع.فاكلوا و شبعوا جميعا ثم رفع ما فضل عنهم من الكسر اثنتا عشرة قفة. (لو 9 : 16 -17)

Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them. (Luk 9 : 16-17)

الحل السهل .... مرفوض The simple solution …. rejected

الحل المعجزة .... يبدأ بالبحث

The Miraculous solution … starts with searching

المنطق المادي .... محبط دائما

The materialistic logic … always frustrating

4- بالإمكانيات الموجودة المحدودة

4 – With whatever limited resources!

النظام .... ضروري .... ضروري

Discipline …. necessary… a top necessity

العدد .... الإحصاء .... الحسابات

Counting …. Statistics … Accounts

الكسر .... ثروة .... بلا حدود

Leftover fragments .… fortune …. limitless

فقال له واحد يا سيد اقليل هم الذين يخلصون فقال لهم. اجتهدوا ان تدخلوا من الباب الضيق فاني اقول لكم ان كثيرين سيطلبون ان يدخلوا و لا يقدرون. ( لو 13: 23، 24)

Then one said to Him, "Lord, are there few who are saved?" And He said to them, Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. (Luk 13: 23-24)

وكان جميع العشارين والخطاة يدنون منه ليسمعوه. فتذمر الفريسيون والكتبة قائلين هذا يقبل خطاة وياكل معهم. فكلمهم بهذا المثل قائلا. اي انسان منكم له مئة خروف واضاع واحدا منها الا يترك التسعة والتسعين في البرية ويذهب لاجل الضال حتى يجده. ( لو 15: 1- 4)

Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him, and the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them". So He spoke this parable to them, saying: What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

(Luk 15 : 1-4)

5- بتغيير الفكر

5 – Change of mind

و قال لقوم واثقين بانفسهم انهم ابرار ويحتقرون الاخرين هذا المثل. انسانان صعدا الى الهيكل ليصليا واحد فريسي والاخر عشار.

(لو 18: 9، 10)

Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. (Luk 18: 9-10)

و جاء يوم الفطير الذي كان ينبغي ان يذبح فيه الفصح. فارسل بطرس و يوحنا قائلا اذهبا و اعدا لنا الفصح لناكل. فقالا له اين تريد ان نعد.

Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed and He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat". So they said to Him, "Where do You want us to prepare?“

6 – Assigning responsibilities

فقال لهما اذا دخلتما المدينة يستقبلكما انسان حامل جرة ماء اتبعاه الى البيت حيث يدخل. و قولا لرب البيت يقول لك المعلم اين المنزل حيث اكل الفصح مع تلاميذي. ( لو 22: 7- 11)

And He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters. Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" (Luk 22: 7-11)

6 – Assigning responsibilities

و فيما هو مجتمع معهم اوصاهم ان لا يبرحوا من اورشليم بل ينتظروا موعد الاب الذي سمعتموه مني. ( أع 1: 4)

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, you have heard from Me. (Acts 1: 4)

7- بوضع الخطة (النظام)

7 – Planning (Discipline)

لكنكم ستنالون قوة متى حل الروح القدس عليكم وتكونون لي شهودا في اورشليم وفي كل اليهودية والسامرة والى اقصى الارض.

(أع 1: 8)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth". (Acts 1 : 8)

7- بوضع الخطة (النظام)

و لما رجع بعدما اخذ الملك امر ان يدعى اليه اولئك العبيد الذين اعطاهم الفضة ليعرف بما تاجر كل واحد. ( لو 19: 15)

And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. (Luk 19 :15)

8 – Follow Up

وكانت بينهم ايضا مشاجرة من منهم يظن انه يكون اكبر. فقال لهم ملوك الامم يسودونهم والمتسلطون عليهم يدعون محسنين.

( لو 22: 24، 25)

Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. And He said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called 'benefactors'. (Luk 22: 24-25)

8- بالمتابعة

8 – Follow Up

فقال لهم لكن الان من له كيس فلياخذه و مزود كذلك و من ليس له فليبع ثوبه و يشتر سيفا. ( لو 22: 36)

Then He said to them, "But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. (Luk 22 :36)

وها انا ارسل اليكم موعد ابي فاقيموا في مدينة اورشليم الى ان تلبسوا قوة من الاعالي. واخرجهم خارجا الى بيت عنيا ورفع يديه و باركهم. وفيما هو يباركهم انفرد عنهم و اصعد الى السماء. ( لو 24: 49- 51)

Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high“ And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. (Luk 24 : 49 – 51)

و قال للمدعوين مثلا وهو يلاحظ كيف اختاروا المتكات الاولى قائلا لهم. (لو14 : 7)

So He told a parable to those who were invited, when He noted how they chose the best places, saying to them. (Luk 14:7)

Realistic

متى دعيت من احد الى عرس فلا تتكئ في المتكا الاول لعل اكرم منك يكون قد دعي منه. (لو 14: 8)

When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him. (Luk 14:8)

بل اذا صنعت ضيافة فادع المساكين الجدع العرج العمي.(لو 14 : 13)

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.
