Network Mode

802.1X authentication will only function with the amplifier in Wired Ethernet mode

802.1X settings can be set while the amp is in wired mode but connected to a switch port without 802.1X authentication, or alternatively through WiFi or Access Point modes.

Select the 802.1X protocol that is going to be used

PEAP-MSCHAPv2 Mode

PEAP mode requires an Identity and Password to be set

Anonymous identity and Domain are optional and not required for PEAP to properly function

Enter Identity, Password, and optional fields then click save

The amp may disconnect when storing the settings, please click on save in the popup to finish saving settings to the amp

TLS Mode

Identity, Key File Password, CA Certificate, Client Certificate, and Key File are required for TLS to properly authenticate

Anonymous identity and Domain are optional and not required for PEAP to properly function

Upload Certificates and Key File by clicking on the appropriate upload button and selecting the correct file and clicking on open

All files must be PEM encoded (Base64) with a .cer, .crt, or .pem extension and the key file must have a .key extension

Once uploaded the Certificates validity period will appear in the Uploaded Section and the Key File will show there is a file uploaded

Click on the Save button to make all fields, certificates, and key file active

The amp may disconnect when storing the settings, please click on Save button in the popup to finishing saving settings to the amp

After the save is complete then the “Uploaded” certificates and key file will become “Active”

Certificate Validity Period and RSA Key Check information will be displayed in the Active section for each file

Identity, Password, and CA Certificate are required for TTLS to properly authenticate

Note on Certificates and Key Files

Uploading new certificates and key files and then saving will replace the previously active files and only the newly uploaded files will be stored on the amp.

A factory reset will remove all stored certificate and key files on the amplifier.
