BEFORE THE GAME STARTS…

1) Enter Game Info @Top

  • Game: (Who’s playing)
  • Division: Grade 8, 9, Junior (Gr 10), Senior Boys/Girls
  • Played at: Central Date: MM/DD/20YY
  • Use CAPS & different colour pen for each half

2) Enter Rosters VISITORS TOP, HOME TEAM BOTTOM

  • Include Jersey #, Last Name + Initial
  • Get rosters from coach
  • Ask Coaches to indicate starters *, captain ‘C’
  • Have coach sign bottom of roster list.
  • Complete this as early as possible!

START OF GAME: JUMP BALL

3) INDICATE WHO WON POSSESSION at the beginning of the game by “X” visitor or home team box.

  • Alternate “X” after each change of possession.

4) Also, INDICATE possession with ARROW

  • After the opening jump ball, point the arrow in the direction the losing team is going.
  • When a jump ball situation occurs again (ie. held ball), the team going in the direction of the possession arrow gets the ball.
  • The arrow then swaps to point for the other team after ball is inbounded to show who will gain possession next.
