What was going on in the outside world?
The French revolution started in 1789 and ended in 1799. This revolution is where the lower class of France fought to be treated better. This caused over 250,000 deaths in the country.

What was going on in the outside world?
The Napoleonic Wars were a series of wars conducted by the new general of France, Napoleon Bonaparte. Even though the neighboring countries of France wanted to dethrone the general so bad, they couldn’t. This was because Napoleon was a great conqueror and conquered parts of Spain, Italy, and many more.

What was going on in the outside world?
The Louisiana purchase of 1803 was a deal where the former U.S. would get a large chunk of modern-day America. The U.S. would have to give 15 million dollars to France to acquire the land. The person who sold the land was Napoleon Bonaparte. He did this because France needed more money for the war effort.

Was The Haitian Revolution Successful?
The Haitan revolution resulted in the the victory of the haitian slaves over the French army. Although the Haitian Revolution was successful there were about 345 thousand casualties.
What Did The Haitian Revolution Accomplish?
The Haitan revolution was able to accomplish great things. Haiti became free from French rule and also abolished slavery in their country.
How Was Haiti Changed By The Revolution?
Even though Haiti was free from French rule and slavery, the country was suffering after the revolution. This is due to many buildings being destroyed, over 200,000 Africans slaves dying , and fear of the French coming back to Haiti.
What Was The Legacy Of The Haitian Revolution?
The Haitian revolution is known as one of the biggest and most influential slave rebillions of all time. It challenged the superpowers of Europe and became the first black-led country in the world.
