อุปกรณ์การดูแลและเปลี่ยนถุง

  • ถุงมือกันเปื้อน , ถุงขยะ
  • กรรไกร หรือ เข็มตัดด้ายเย็บผ้า
  • สำลีสะอาด , ผ้าขนหนูซับน้ำ
  • Colostomy sizing , ปากกา
  • แป้น และ ถุง colostomy

  • เลือกแป้นและถุงให้ขนาดพอเหมาะกับ Stoma
  • วัดขนาดของรูเปิด Stoma ให้พอดี
  • ตัดขนาดของรูเปิด Stoma ให้พอดี หรือห่างจากขอบประมาณ 2-3 มิลลิเมตร

ทำความสะอาด

  • ทำความสะอาดผิวโดยรอบและตัว Stoma ด้วย สำลี ชุบน้ำเปล่าให้สะอาด ไม่มีคราบหรืออุจจาระเปื้อน
  • ซับผิวรอบ Stoma ให้แห้งด้วยผ้าสะอาด ไม่เป็นขุย

การดูแลและการทำความสะอาดถุงรองรับอุจจาระ

ทำความสะอาด

  • นำแป้นที่ตัดแล้วมาวางทาบ โดยให้เริ่มแปะทีละด้านจากล่างขึ้นบนหรือบนลงล่าง แล้วกดให้แนบเรียบกับผิว
  • กรณี ต้องใช้ Power หรือ Paste ให้ทาก่อนที่จะแปะแป้นทับ
  • หากผู้ป่วยลุกเดินบ่อยให้แปะแป้นและถุง ลักษณะ แนวตั้ง
  • หากผู้ป่วยลุกเดินน้อย หรือนอนติดเตียง ให้แปะแป้นและถุงลักษณะแนวนอนเอียงลงด้านข้าง

  • ควรถ่ายเทอุจจาระหรือของเสีย เมือมีปริมาณ 1/3 ของถุง เพื่อป้องกันการหลุด

การทำความสะอาดถุง

  • ให้ทำความสะอาดถุงด้วยน้ำเปล่าธรรมดาไม่ร้อน ใช้สบู่ หรือน้ำยาล้างจานได้
  • แล้วผึ่งให้แห้งในที่อากาศถ่ายเทสะดวก ไม่ตากแดด

การทำกิจวัตรประจำวันของผู้ป่วยที่มี Stoma

  • สอนให้ผู้ป่วยส่องกระจกดู Stoma ทุกวัน
  • เดินทางท่องเที่ยวได้ปกติ , จัดเตรียมอุปกรณ์การดูแลให้เพียงพอ
  • ทำงานได้ปกติ แต่ให้งดยกของหนักมากกว่า 2 กิโล เพราะจะเหนี่ยวนำให้เกิด Stoma prolapse , Parastromal hernia ได้
  • ก่อนนอนควรทำความสะอาดถุงให้เรียบร้อย และไม่ควรนอนทับด้านที่มี Stoma

การทำกิจวัตรประจำวันของผู้ป่วยที่มี Stoma

  • สามารถออกกำลังกายได้ วิ่ง , ว่ายน้ำ ยกเว้น ฮูลาฮูป หรือกีฬาที่ต้องมีอุปกรณ์ห่วงบริเวณ Stoma
