3 Nephi 23: 1And now, behold, I say unto you, that YE ought to SEARCH these things. Yea, a COMMANDMENT I give unto you that ye search these things DILIGENTLY; for great are the words of Isaiah.

3 Nephi 21: 8And when that day shall come, it shall come to pass that kings shall shut their mouths; for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Isaiah 28: 9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Matthew 13:(JST) 22¶ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field;�23But while he slept, his enemy came, and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.�24But when the blade sprang up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.�25So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? Whence then hath it tares?�26He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.�27And the servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?�28But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.�29Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the wheat into my barn; and the tares are bound in bundles to be burned.

D & C 10: 67Behold, this is my doctrine—whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same IS my church.�68Whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me; therefore he is not of my church.��Church of the Lamb of God = repentant who have come to Christ��1 Nephi 14: 10And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.��church of the devil = whore of all the earth��

D & C 86:1 Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you my servants, concerning the parable of the wheat and of the tares:�2Behold, verily I say, the field was the world, and the apostles were the sowers of the seed;�3And after they have fallen asleep the great persecutor of the church, the apostate, the whore, even Babylon, that maketh all nations to drink of her cup, in whose hearts the enemy, even Satan, sitteth to reign—behold he soweth the tares; wherefore, the tares CHOKE the wheat and DRIVE the church into the wilderness.�7Therefore, let the wheat and the tares grow together until the harvest is fully ripe; then ye shall FIRST gather out the wheat from among the tares, and after the gathering of the wheat, behold and lo, the tares are bound in bundles, and the field remaineth to be burned.

1 Nephi 14: 10And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.�11And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the earth, and she sat upon many waters; and she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.�12And it came to pass that I beheld the church of the Lamb of God, and its numbers were FEW, because of the wickedness and abominations of the whore who sat upon many waters; nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, who were the saints of God, were also upon ALL the face of the earth; and their dominions upon the face of the earth were SMALL, because of the wickedness of the great whore whom I saw.�

1 Nephi 2:2And it came to pass that the Lord commanded my father, even in a dream, that he should take his family and depart into the wilderness.

Mosiah 18: 34And it came to pass that Alma and the people of the Lord were apprised of the coming of the king’s army; therefore they took their tents and their families and departed into the wilderness.

Isaiah 1: 5¶ Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the WHOLE head is sick, and the WHOLE heart faint.

Revelation 18:23…for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were ALL nations deceived.�24And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.����

����2 Nephi 19: 16For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.���2 Nephi 28:14…they have all gone astray save it be a few, who are the humble followers of Christ; nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err because they are taught by the precepts of men.

2 Nephi 30:1 …I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be…and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed.

Mormon 8: 23Search the prophecies of Isaiah. Behold, I cannot write them…�35Behold, I speak unto YOU as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. Isaiah 28: 7¶ But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.�8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.�9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

1 Nephi 8: 5And it came to pass that I saw a man, and he was dressed in a white robe; and he came and stood before me.�6And it came to pass that he spake unto me, and bade me FOLLOW him.�7And it came to pass that as I followed him I beheld myself that I was in a dark and dreary waste.�8And after I had traveled for the space of many hours in darkness, I began to PRAY unto the Lord that he would have mercy on me, according to the multitude of his tender mercies.�30…he saw other multitudes pressing forward; and they came and caught hold of the end of the rod of iron; and they did PRESS their way forward, continually HOLDING FAST to the rod of iron, until they came forth and FELL DOWN and partook of the fruit of the tree.

1 Nephi 14: And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks—
