MISSION

The goal of this practicum is to provide strong clinical training in delivering evidence-based interventions for medical populations that promote health and resiliency across the lifespan. Training primarily takes place within clinical trials involving patients with acute and chronic illnesses and their caregivers, in both hospital and community contexts. Practicum students gain hands-on experience delivering interventions that integrate mind-body and evidence-based skills (e.g., DBT, ACT, CBT) in individual, dyadic, and group formats.
