The day of Pentecost
فقبلوا كلامه بفرح واعتمدوا وانضم في ذلك اليوم نحو ثلاثة الاف نفس(اع2 : 41)
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. (Act 2 : 41)
من خلفية يهودية ... آمنوا بالمسيّا
From a Jewish background …
they believed in the Messiah
قدموا توبة حقيقية معترفين بخطاياهم
They repented truthfully and confessed their sins
طلبوا المعمودية بفرح رغم الخطورة
They happily requested to be baptized despite the danger
و كثيرون من الذين سمعوا الكلمة امنوا و صار عدد الرجال نحو خمسة الاف. (اع 4 : 4)
However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand. (Act 4 : 4)

After the problem of the widows
و كانت كلمة الله تنمو و عدد التلاميذ يتكاثر جدا في اورشليم و جمهور كثير من الكهنة يطيعون الايمان. (اع 6 : 7)
Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. (Act 6 : 7)

و لكن لما صدقوا فيلبس و هو يبشر بالامور المختصة بملكوت الله و باسم يسوع المسيح اعتمدوا رجالا و نساء. (اع 8 : 12)
But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. (Act 8 : 12)

فسمع الخبر عنهم في اذان الكنيسة التي في اورشليم فارسلوا برنابا لكي يجتاز الى انطاكية. الذي لما اتى و راى نعمة الله فرح و وعظ الجميع ان يثبتوا في الرب بعزم القلب. لانه كان رجلا صالحا و ممتلئا من الروح القدس و الايمان فانضم الى الرب جمع غفير. (اع 11 : 22 - 24)
Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord. (Act 11 : 22 - 24)

فحدث انهما اجتمعا في الكنيسة سنة كاملة و علما جمعا غفيرا و دعي التلاميذ مسيحيين في انطاكية اولا. (اع 11 : 26)
And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. (Act 11 : 26)

Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
(Act 13 : 48)
و لما انفضت الجماعة تبع كثيرون من اليهود و الدخلاء المتعبدين بولس و برنابا اللذين كانا يكلمانهم و يقنعانهم ان يثبتوا في نعمة الله. و في السبت التالي اجتمعت كل المدينة تقريبا لتسمع كلمة الله.

Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. (Act 13 : 43 - 44)
