Firestone

• Enjoy scout skill competition and camping fun
• Several activities including knots, compass, shelter building, skits, cornhole, iron chef, and more
• Ventures will compete against ventures; scouts against scouts; webelos against webelos
• Awards, patches, and recognition for performance
• Order of the Arrow Call Out at the Saturday night campfire
• All required safety guidelines will be used

• Needs
• Unit Camporee Representative
• Adult Volunteers to serve on staff
• Preliminary list of patrols/numbers (adult and scout)
• On location medical representative

​

• Black Pug sign ups
• On-line site information to follow
• $40 each person for 2 nights; $30 per person for 1 night; 210 per person day use (adults and scouts)

​

• The Leadership Guide booklet will be provided via all communication methods

• New Location – Firestone scout camp in Brea
• Could be open fire restrictions – depends on weather
• Review current unit activities – consider changing or adding
• Additional activities sponsored by the camp are available for a cost
• Shot Gun
• Archery
• Etc.
• I will participate in a walk through soon
• The camp location is the area closest to the highway
• Equipment and scout drop off must be regulated for safety
• Black Pug registration will be open soon – register early
• Encourage/invite AOLs and Webelos for the Saturday events
