SCCA Annual Meeting Ground Rules for Order and Respect

We expect this will be a courteous and respectful exchange of ideas, facts and opinions amongst neighbors.  To help assure that it remains so, we expect everyone to adhere to the following ground rules:

  • No speaking until recognized by the chair.
  • Questions/comments must be kept under 2 minutes and no more than two 30 second follow up questions or rebuttals.
  • There will be no interruptions to a speaker who has the floor.
  • No shouting or yelling.
  • No foul language.
  • No personal attacks or name calling.
  • No going off topic.
  • First violations will be given a warning.
  • Anyone committing a second violation will be asked to leave the meeting.
  • In the unlikely event there is widespread non-compliance, the chair will adjourn the meeting and a virtual meeting will be scheduled at a later date.
