b. Free write- write about any topic you would like to: Sports, food, hobbies, vacation, summer, classes, awesome things, stressful things, etc..

March 17, 2016 Homework

  • Power Sentences- Due Thursday, March 17. We will score assignment in class.
  • Congratulations to Lila- Scholastic National Silver Key Award winner!
  • Othello- Complete reading the play by Friday, April 1. While reading the play, complete 5 pages of Dialectical Journals, 10 quotes, with a response for each quote. Journal responses should include “weaving” or “embedding” quotes into your analysis, identification and analysis of rhetorical strategies, and thematic analysis.
  • Bring list of Rhetorical Terms to next class. We will be working on Team Powerpoints
  • Bring your SOAPSTONE to each class. We will be working on the SOAPSTONE as a class activity, and your homework will consist of reading Othello.
  • Counselor’s Activity - due March 28/29
