GUEST SPEAKER SESSION
Jerry is currently a fellow physician in the Division of Neuropathology, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCI Health pursuing the combined anatomic pathology residency and neuropathology fellowship (AP/NP) track. His passion for neuropathology goes back to his undergraduate studies in neuroscience and publications on brain tumor banking with Dr. William Yong as well as IDH1 mutation epigenomics in gliomas with Dr. Albert Lai. His fascination with the brain as the seat of human intelligence naturally evolved into his research interest today in artificial intelligence for pathology. Jerry currently works with Dr. William Yong in neuropathology research and Dr. Peter Chang in machine learning through the UCI Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine.
