What is Hybrid School?

  • As the term Hybrid schooling refers to “blended learning” students get an opportunity to have a combination of both traditional school attendance with home instruction.

  • A unique model for the state

  • Will provide flexibility for families

  • Allows for technology-integrated education

  • Teaching 21st century skills to students in Arkansas.

  • Provides Social/Emotional support that is not available in all-virtual model.

Hybrid School Model

  • Digital curriculum will be taught by LISA teachers.

(Online homework help will be provided based on faculty availability.)

  • All students will be provided required technology and resources.

(IT support will be provided based on faculty availability.)

  • Students are required to attend onsite education and activities at one of the learning centers at least half day every other week.

  • Onsite learning centers for 2021-2022 School year are as follows:

- 21 Corporate Hill Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205 (Main Hybrid school building will be located at 21 Corporate Hill Dr.)

  • Student services will be provided virtually or contracted as needed

  • Over 190 courses will be available.

  • Educational resources: nationally recognized curriculum and portals will be utilized (LMS, etc.)

  • Training will be provided for parents and students on use of online learning resources

  • LISA Academy teachers will provide instruction in core areas.

  • Instruction will be technology-based.

  • State Testing will be administered to all required grade levels

Schedule

  • Students will receive main instruction online thru the learning platform every week day.
  • Students will be offered supplemental support onsite one day per week.
  • Students will be offered clubs, sports, extracurricular activities on multiple days per week

���Who will apply?

  • Students who select Digital Learning option in other LISA schools will be supported by the Hybrid School Staff for only 2021-22 school year.

  • Students may not transfer between schools (except during transfer season)

  • LISA Students who would like to be a permanent Hybrid School Student will need to apply online to be included in the random lottery.
