On the mountain of La Salette – 6,000 feet
above sea level on the heights above the village of La Salette in the French Alps
Who were the visionaries?:

Children:
- Poor – Uneducated.
Maximin – 11 years old
Melanie – 14 yrs old
Mary chose the children who were humble, ignorant and poor.
After the Bishop of Grenoble declared the authenticity of the apparition, the children took upon themselves the responsibility to spread the Good News.
They were certainly not saints in the sense of official language of the Church. They lived ordinary lives.
“God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise”

2. Contrition - It calls us to examine our lives…our relationship with God. It calls to true sorrow. It calls us to take steps to make the necessary steps to repair the damage we done in our relationship with ourselves, with others and with others,

Mary: Do you say your prayers well my children?
Children: No Madam.
Mary: " Ah, my children", she exhorted them, "you must be sure to say them well morning and evening.
Reconciliation
3. Confession- an admission of our personal sins before God and to ask for His merciful forgiveness.
It is externalizing the result of our conversion that has taken place inside of us

Good News -“I have come to bring you good news”
If they are converted the stones will turn into heaps of wheat…the potatoes will be self sown.
Celebration - God’s forgiving
And merciful love called Absolution
