This is where you post assignments & organize work.

Teachers can make 3 types of post*:

  • General announcement
  • Question
  • Assignment

If students downloaded the google classroom app on their phone and allow notifications, they will get notifications whenever you post.

*all 3 can be posted in real time or scheduled to be posted at a later date/time

Here you create announcements and respond to student work

How to sort posts

Make TOPICS for each TYPE of post (announcements, homework, classwork, quiz, etc)

Each time you make a post, choose the topic

Then you and students cal go back sort posts by type

STUDENTS

The class code that students need to join the class is found here.

Students can be added manually by the teacher or given the class code.

From this page you can send messages to individual students or their guardians.
