We choose others as companions;

Friendships deepen or dissolve;

By our choice we make connections;

By our choice these can evolve.

When enriched by our awareness

Of our spirit’s energy,

Our relationships find closeness

As within a family.

Melodies we wish to sing;

Then each human meeting flowers

Like a garden in the spring.
