Tips for Attending Class Online...

  • We suggest that you mute your microphone when you enter the Google Meet. You must grant permission if you want to turn your camera and sound on.
  • Please be in a quiet place with few distractions.
  • If your camera is on, be aware of the background--we can all see what is behind you!
  • Dress as if you were actually leaving your house. Please do not sit in bed, in your PJ's, or in inappropriate attire (at least from the waist up!). It is best if you are sitting in a chair at a table or a desk.
  • Wear earbuds or headphones, as it limits the noise we will all hear in the background.
  • If you can join on a laptop or computer, that is best. If you need to join on your tablet or phone, please be sure that it is propped up and steady so that you don't have to hold it the whole time.

“We are descendants of great African fathers and great African mothers. We will have the pride, strength and the power of the motherland, To help us do the things we must do.
