Please open the document in the assignment “Empathy Nuggets” in Classroom. As a group you’ll be completing an activity where you unpack and further analyze the information you’ve gathered in the empathy phase. This should help provide clarity in defining your specific censorship problem and audience. You’ll be completing this activity as a group but everyone must fill out their own doc.
Empathy: Research Censorship issues
-What types of things get censored
-Why are things censored (given reason, actual reason)
-Who is impacted by censorship
-Who censors?
-What factors play a role in their decision to censor?
-What are the different types of censorship?
Define: Choose a example of censorship or a reason for censorship that you think is a problem (pro or con).
-Identify your audience
Ideate: Generate ideas for persuading your audience.
-Further research your chosen censorship subtopic.
Prototype: Create rough drafts of your product/project.
Test: Present your prototype to another group. Receive and implement feedback.
Present: Present your product/project to an authentic audience.

Now you will teach yourself/group how to conduct a proper interview. Go to Classroom and open the doc in the “Building Empathy” and complete it with your group. Although you are working together, each of you is required to fill it out.
*This is a graded activity. Please refer to the attached rubric.

When you are finished go to the Whole Group Empathy doc and put one question per category. Do not duplicate questions. If a group has already put the questions you chose then write another.
