WHY WE SELECTED THIS TOPIC ?

  • It's estimated that around 70% of surface water in India is unfit for consumption.

  • Water pollution is major health risk to humans and kills aquatic animals.

​

  • Most of these pollutants are toxic plastic and are affecting adversely the water resources (wells, lakes, rivers, and ponds) which also affect Aquatic Life.

​

  • So that to reduce the water pollution we are trying to make a ‘Pond Cleaning Robot’, a device which involves removing the waste garbage from water surface and safely recycling it.
