What is an NCSA Hybrid Model?

  • It combines the positive aspects of homeschooling with the positive aspects of traditional schooling.
  • Faith-driven to integrate parents into the education process as true partners.
  • This model educates and partners with parents from grades Pre K through 8th.
  • Professional teachers instructing in their areas of expertise, conduct classroom teaching, and partner with parents to achieve the highest results.
  • Students attend these classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Monday and Friday students do parent-supported learning at home, where parents continue the support and supervision based on teacher-provided lesson plans.
  • This hybrid model brings together the best attributes of the classroom with the benefits of one-on-one parent engagement and guidance at home.
  • Through this partnership, parents and teachers seek to raise up well-educated disciples of Christ for the next generation.

New Family Support

Our Family Ministry team is developing a Family Mentorship program to partner with all incoming families to help you acclimate to our model, culture, and program.

CVCA will connect you with a support family, or you may already know someone that you can reach out to.

  • These mentor families will help answer any questions you may have, as well as support you through the first year at our school.

  • We are in the process of developing this Family Mentorship program that will be a part of our Family Connections Ministry here at Cedar Valley Christian Academy.
  • Mentor Families must have been at CVCA at least 1 semester before applying to be a mentor support family.

Once your student has been accepted, we have a few ways to stay up to date with what’s happening at CVCA, including your family mentor, our community Facebook page called “CVCA Lion Famiies Community”, our newsletter, and events you will be able to participate in such as our Back To School event and more...
