DUAL ENROLLMENT 2021-2022

ATC AT-A-GLANCE

Atlanta Technical College (Atlanta Tech) was established in 1968. Atlanta Tech is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Atlanta Tech’s designated service area includes the city of Atlanta, Fulton County south of the Chattahoochee and Clayton County.

Atlanta Tech’s training programs are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

At ATC: Education is For Everyone

Atlanta Tech offers opportunities to people 16 years or older to include:

• Recent high school graduates,
• Men and women currently in the workforce,
• Persons returning or entering college for the first time and Veterans

WHAT MAKES ATC A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?

• 2.0 GPA for TCCs and diploma programs; 2.6 for associates
• Ability to earn a credential at the completion of a program
• Over 150+ programs (certificates, diplomas and associate degrees)
• Course Flexibility: on campus, online, and at the high school
• General core course offerings as well as technical/CTAE course offerings
• Student-to-teacher ratio: much smaller than university setting
• Tuition and fees a fraction of the cost of a college/university

DUAL ENROLLMENT

Dual Enrollment provides the opportunity for high school students at a participating eligible public or private high school, or home school program in Georgia, to enroll with Atlanta Tech. Students take coursework at Atlanta Technical College for credit towards both high school graduation or home study completion and post secondary requirements. Students must have approval from their high school counselor and their parents to participate.

The program is offered during all academic semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

� ��ATC DE ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

• Current students enrolled in an eligible public or private high school (or home school program) in Georgia
• 9th – 12th grade

(9th graders should have completed at least their first semester of high school prior to enrollment)

• 9^th graders do not receive funding; 10^th graders can only take CTAE courses
• Submit a high school transcript or standardized test score, if available
• Submit GA Futures funding application every school year www.gafutures.org
