  • I have taught at GMA since 2016. Teaching 7th, and ⅞ and 8th

grade has given me a diverse understanding of the middle

school child.

  • I have a BS in Education from Clemson University and over

Eighteen extra credits.

  • A little bit about me...Mother, teacher, and friend.
  • Believer in the spirit and goodness of people.
  • Part of Greenville's community.
  • Here's what I believe:
    1. Inside the classroom, the effective teacher is firm, fair and friendly.
    2. High expectations build mutual respect.
    3. Management limits wait time and practice is engaging.
    4. Scaffolding is essential and challenge is imperative.
    5. Intrinsic motivation encourages independent learning which opens student opportunities.
    6. Interesting lessons hold the key.

Chromebook, Paper, Pencil, Pen, Highlighter, Textbook, Calculator with a positive and negative button. Please do not go out and buy a scientific calculator. It causes problems.
