UGA Dual Enrollment Admission Criteria

Applicants will undergo a holistic review process. “Demonstrated academic achievement” is the primary factor in the Dual Enrollment review. While students are still taking high school classes, we expect applicants to have taken full advantage of rigor at their school before starting Dual Enrollment at UGA.  The academic review centers on several criteria:

  • Student’s Grade Point Avg. (GPA) Core Academics
  • Rigor of a student’s course selection
  • Student’s best combination of scores on the SAT or ACT

  • intercultural experiences
  • public service & community involvement
  • co-curricular activities
  • leadership and family commitments
  • integrity and personal maturity. Dual enrollment applicants will also complete two essays as part of the application review.
