1. Log in to CIMS. If you are in the student portal, you can click on the Activities icon.

2. From the left-hand menu (click the “hamburger” to display the menu if this is not visible) select “Activities & Service”

3. You can find complete details of the different programmes on offer via the website links

4. You can also see a complete list of all the options on offer via the Overview button

5. Click the “Main Sign Up” button to begin the signup process

5. Each of your children will be listed

6. You can see what your Middle and High School children have selected, but you cannot edit this.

6. For Primary School students, click the “Main Sign Up” button to begin the sign up process

The Signup page is divided into four main sections:

1. Grade Specific Instructions - what you need to select, specific to your grade

2. General Instructions - how to make your selections

3. Your Selected Preferences - what you have selected, or been pre-allocated

4. The Selection area - where you can search for and select sessions to add to your preferences

Please read the instructions at the top detailing the selections that you have to make.

These are specific to your grade.

The Instructions

To start with your selection area will be empty.

Unless you have been pre-allocated to an activity or Home Language programme session.

As you make selections in the bottom section they will appear here.

You can make your selections via two different views:

Calendar

  • A visual view that includes your timetable
  • Use the filters at the top to hide / show different categories
  • Click on a cell to see more details
  • Change the month to see the options throughout the entire year

List

  • A quick way to find specific options
  • Or to search a category

When you click on a cell in the calendar or select an option from the list view, a pop-up will display more details.

Some overviews have a link to an external website for even more details.

Either click Select to add this option to your selections or Cancel to close the pop-up.

Some Sports have a number of sessions each week and you need to choose which ones you wish to attend. Read the instructions carefully and tick your specific sessions before clicking Select.

The selections should be listed in your order of preference:

You can provide multiple preferences, but you must also tell us how many options you want to be allocated - top right.

In the example, the student will be allocated 2 out of the 4 selections.

NOTE: You cannot have any selections that have the same timings (clash) across any category.

Managing Your Selections

When you are happy with your selections, you are ready to Submit.

Before you can Submit, you must read the Student Expectations and then tick the box to show that you are agree to these.

Any errors will be highlighted in RED messages at the top. These must be corrected before trying again.

When you click Submit you will be returned to the home page.

You will also receive an email confirmation of your selections. If you do not receive an email, then check your submission.

You can return to the Sign Up page and edit your selections at any time during the Main Sign Up phase.

After you re-submit updated selections, you will receive another email to confirm the new selections.

Your confirmed activities and services will be reflected and you will not be able to remove them.

The Clearance phase includes Activities which still have places remaining. Therefore, some Activities may be unavailable if they have already reached the maximum number of students.

Make your selection based on the available activities listed and proceed to payment.

Your place in the selected activities will be reserved for 15 minutes to process payment. If payment is not received during this timeframe, your selection will be released automatically.
