During the early hours of the morning on the 28FEB2024, a last ditch counter attack was performed by the remaining enemy forces within the region. Friendly forces were taken by surprise from the attack and have unforentally been pushed back several kilometers from the front to the south. Forces on the eastern side of the front have been able to hold the line barely. Currently elements of a mechanized platoon are making a final stand at FARP Hugo awaiting Bandit Platoon, the only acting QRF in the AO, to come and relieve pressure off the front and push back enemy forces.
