Active Inquiry

Active inquiry instruction is student-led.

  • Design questions to facilitate discussion and further inquiry.
  • Take a “hands-off” approach and give students ample room and resources to investigate their own theories.

Project-Based Learning

Using the problem/solution (problem-based learning) model can be helpful when designing projects.

Students are given leadership and ample opportunities to inquire and reflect on their intention and actions.

Intentional Grouping

Allows for the cultivation of diversity which is highly beneficial for learning and self-awareness development.

Students can be intentionally mixed in background, ability, or other factors.

Allows students to “find their fit” and pushes them to analyze why they “fit” where they do.
