SCHOOL DAY

The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:10 pm.

BEHAVIOR

Our classroom rules are: Be honest, be respectful, be responsible.

If students do not demonstrate appropriate grade level behavior, I will send home a note or contact you in parent square.

WEBSITE

The third grade website provides some extra website resources your child can use to practice third grade reading and math skills.

GOOGLE CLASSROOM

Assignments are posted to Google CLassroom each day. Some activities will be required to be completed at home if not completed at school. Please check Google Classroom for missing assignments.

INFINITE CAMPUS

Grades can be found on Infinite Campus. Grades are updated weekly.

PARENT SQUARE

Weekly newsletters will be posted to parent square every Friday. Updates from the school district are also frequently posted. This is also a great way to contact me with any questions or concerns.

HOMEWORK

Any assignments that are stamped homework are expected to be completed at home. Homework may also be assigned in Google Classroom.

GRADING SCALE

Please review the school district’s grading scale.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

We love celebrating our classmates’ birthdays! Students are more than welcome to bring a non-edible treat on their birthday to share with the class. If they have a summer birthday, we will celebrate in May. At this time, we have 17 students in our class.

CONTACT INFORMATION

Please do not hesitate to email or call me with any questions you may have. I can be reached at my school email, Smihalski@D91.net, phone 815-838-0542, ext. 2110 or through parent square.
