Time Management Hints

  • Use class time and study hall time well.
    • Teachers are available for you to get help.
    • You have to be at school anyway, so get as much done as you can here instead of saving it for home.
  • At the end of the school day, determine a study plan that will work with your schedule and how much homework you have.

Develop a Weekly Schedule

  • To find out how you spend your time and where you have time available, fill in the Weekly Schedule:
    • Write in all scheduled activities (sports practice, games, lessons, etc.).
    • Write in anything that’s the same every day (dinner, chores, etc.).
    • Look at the times that are open and then circle the best times for you to do your homework.
