SAP Extended Warehouse Management
(ECC6 & SCM-EWM System scenario)
Analyze the PPF in SAP EWM
The scenario is to Trigger Automation creation and Printing of follow-on documents related to inbound deliveries, such as receipt documents and labels for products and bins.
To implement these actions, we need to understand how post processing framework (PPF) is configured in SAP EWM, and also how these actions are processid in SAP EWM.
First, we check the PPF action profile assigned to the inbound delivery notification and inbound delivery document types in this IMG.
Document Type | Document Category | Description | Action Profile |
INB | IDR | Inbound Delivery Notification | /SCDL/IDR |
INB | PDI | Inbound Delivery | /SCDL/PRD_IN |
Extend EWM IMG > Cross-Process Settings > Delivery - Warehouse Request > Actions > Change Actions and Conditions > Define Action Profiles and Actions
