  • Arrival time: 8:00-8:30 AM
  • Four year old drop off is by the gym ramp doors. Older siblings may be dropped off here as well.
  • Please wait for an aide to come to your car. It is very important for safety reasons that your child is with and adult to walk through the car line and into school.
  • Students will be directed by an aide to their classroom door.

  • AM CARES begins at 7:00 AM, if needed. The registration link is on MD website.

  • Birthday treats or treat bags may be brought in as part of your�child’s birthday celebration.
  • We will celebrate your child’s milestone with a song, crown, sticker, pencil, and special job.
  • Please email me ahead of time to schedule what day you will be sending in your child’s birthday treat.

  • Glow and Grow slips
  • Star Jar
    • When students show positive behaviors, kind deeds, or use respectful words, we will add a star to our “star jar.”
    • When the jar is full, all students will pick from our prize box.
  • In case a behavioral issue arises, parents will be contacted.

  • Please dress your child in the Mater Dei Pre-K uniform and SNEAKERS everyday!

• Fall/Summer: Light blue t-shirt with the Mater Dei logo. Navy blue shorts or skorts. White or black socks covering the ankle with sneakers.

• Winter: Light blue t-shirts with logo with a navy blue sweatshirt with logo. Navy blue sweatpants or leggings.

  • Sweatshirts and T-Shirts are purchased at Mater Dei Catholic School.
  • Parents are welcome to purchase navy blue shorts, sweatpants, skorts, or leggings wherever you shop.
  • Children are permitted to wear a white long-sleeve shirt under the t-shirt if it is cold, but not cold enough for the sweatshirt.
  • Please label jackets, coats, sweatshirts, and winter gear with child’s name or initials.

  • All written communication such as change of transportation can be sent to school in the blue folders
  • Please send your child’s blue communication folder with them to school in their school bags each day.
  • It is important to check and empty your child’s folder everyday so that you do not miss important information and beautiful artwork that they have created.
  • We use a lot of our artwork to decorate our classroom and bulletin boards so you will most likely receive multiple art pieces in your child’s folder after we are done displaying them.
  • Please have your child wear the name tag that is in the front of their folders.

  • Pack a drink for both snack and lunch for full day.
  • Only plastic water bottles may be brought to school.
  • Half day students can bring one snack and a drink to school.
  • We are unable to heat up lunches, but thermoses are welcome.
  • Pre-K is able to purchase hot lunches. Further information has been sent in a school-wide email.
  • We will be peanut-free until I receive notification from all families regarding student allergies and sensitivities.
  • Please label your child’s lunchbox, thermos, and containers.
  • If sending grapes, please be sure they are cut.

  • Religion - God Made the World
    • God Made the World helps instill in four-year-olds a love of Catholic faith, tradition, culture, and a sense of their own Catholic identity while incorporating age-appropriate academic content.
