Parent Support

  • Fundraising Committee

Parent Support

    • Coordinate travel arrangements for team activities & events
      • Carpool, bus, airline, hotel, food, etc.
      • Transport for team supplies & robot (trailer, truck, and/or van)
    • Develop contact lists, hotel rooming assignments, and travel itineraries

    • Donate old electronics as well as office & home supplies
    • Donate tools (e.g. wrenches, clamps, drills, saws, etc.) and tool supplies (e.g. drill bits, saw blades, etc.)
    • Donate gift cards (food and other stores) for general use and travel.
    • Help provide carpooling
    • Help set up & provide food for team events
    • Help with team spirit for competitions
    • Take photos & videos of team activities & events

Off Season

Meetings are Thursdays 6-9 PM

  • Additional meetings will be scheduled in advance

  • Students should preferably eat before the meetings
    • You can send money with your child to buy food from nearby

Build Season

Meetings are Mondays to Fridays from 6-9 PM and Saturdays from 9-5 PM

  • Minimum Attendance Requirements:
    • 3 meetings per week for rookie members
    • 4 meetings per week for veteran members and Student Leadership
  • Meals
    • Provided by parents on Thursdays and Saturdays
    • Other days: students should eat before the meetings
      • You can send money with your child to buy food from nearby

Student Dues

Dues are collected to pay registration fees and robot materials. This also covers the students’ safety glasses, safety gloves, wolf hats, and two competition t-shirts.

  • 1st payment of $200 (by check) OR $205 (via PayPal) due by October 31
  • 2nd payment of $200 (by check) OR $205 (via PayPal) due by February 15.

Student Requirements

To remain a standing member of the team, a student must:

  • Meet the eligibility requirements
  • Complete all necessary registration with the team and FIRST including paying the student dues
  • Wear the appropriate dress code to team meetings and events
  • Attend all compulsory/necessary meetings and events during offseason and Build Season
  • Send a notice if student will be absent or tardy to any of the meetings – 3 consecutive unexcused absences will result in a parent-student meeting
  • Show respect and demonstrate appropriate behavior (e.g. productivity, safety) at all team meetings, events, and social media
  • Regularly check and respond to his/her team messages in email, Remind, or Discord as needed
  • Participate in at least 4 outreach or fundraising events sanctioned by the team leadership

Code of Conduct - Consequences

Members who fail to demonstrate respect towards their peers, neglect to show up to meetings without prior notice, refuse to fulfill their responsibilities and carry out their assigned tasks, not meeting the requirements, and/or carries out an action detrimental to the environment of the team WILL be issued a warning. Any warnings will be dealt with the following procedure:

  • The first warning will issued via a written notice to both the member and his/her parents.
  • The second warning will result in a parent-student conference with the coaches to resolve any issue. Depending on the severity, a lead could also be considered for dismissal from his/her position.
  • Failure afterwards or failure to respond will result in the member’s dismissal from the team with a formal notice.
