Inspiration

My project addresses the problem of aquariums taking sea animals away from their homes, similar to zoos.

Our Project

My project is a 2d game with multiple “levels”. Each level you face a new problem that stops you from escaping or where the octopus trains you to escape. You have to dodge attacks by clicking the spots you can move to, and defeat enemies by clicking on them.

Design Process

I came up with my idea by looking through prompts and trying to get an idea of the direction I wanted to go in.

It started with three completely different ideas, with the ocean themed one being you trying to fish up trash from the ocean, but the end result was just completely different.

My project, at its core, is a 2D clicker game with a few levels.

Although this idea was difficult for me to put into action, the final product was satisfying to see work.

Conclusion

In the end I think my project was a lot better than I previously expected. It may not be perfect, but I did much better than I thought I would before starting. If I had the time I would probably expand on it, because there were some parts of my idea that I didn’t get to fully realize because I didn’t have the time and/or skill.
