Classroom norms for technology
Students will need to use their iPad for some tasks. When not in use, iPads should be put away, so they are not a distraction.
Students will visit only the websites listed in the activity, Schoology, or stated by the teacher.
Students will not eat or drink in the classroom when iPads are being utilized. Phones will be on silent and put away (pocket or bag) at all times.
Students enrolled in consumer math are expected to be prepared for class with their iPad, pencil, calculator, and positive attitude. They should take notes and complete assignments in a timely manner. Students should ask questions and seek help when appropriate.
I look forward to exploring math with you in Consumer Math. Through exploratory lessons, group work, practice, and open-ended questions we use math in real-world application.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Powers
