SELF SERVICE GUIDE

All of our trailers can be picked up and returned at your convenience, via a self service arrangement, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

You will receive a unique PIN code via email once your booking has been confirmed. The unique PIN code can be used at any time during your hire period to lock and unlock the trailer.

SELF SERVICE GUIDE - PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Enter your unique PIN code (issued by email) followed by the unlock button (bottom right) to unlock the padlock securing the tool box. The lock will chime and light up green, simply pull down. If after multiple attempts the lock fails to open, please contact HATOZA Trailer Hire.

STEP 3

Attach the trailer to your tow vehicle (see Guide To Attaching A Trailer).

Use the padlock to lock the toolbox once the trailer is connected.

You’re ready to go!

STEP 2

Use the key located in the tool box to unlock the trailer coupling lock - see instructions following.

Place the trailer coupling lock and key (and wheel chock) in the tool box.

SELF SERVICE GUIDE - RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Park the trailer in the designated parking bay. Please ensure you leave sufficient space for other trailers to be returned hassle free.

Ensure the trailer’s wheels are chocked before disconnecting the trailer from your tow vehicle

STEP 3

Place the trailer lock keys in the tool box, along with any other accessories provided by HATOZA Trailer Hire.

Lock the toolbox using the padlock.

You’re all done!

STEP 2

Unlock the tool box using the unique PIN code and apply the trailer lock to the trailer coupling - see instructions following.

SELF SERVICE GUIDE - TRAILER COUPLING LOCK

TO UNLOCK & DISMANTLE

  1. Insert the Key into the Lock.
  2. Push the Key down into the Lock and turn the Key 90 degrees clockwise to unlock.
  3. Remove the Lock and Barrel from the Housing.
  4. Remove Shield.
  5. Place all items in the tool box.

FITMENT

  1. Unhitch the trailer from the tow vehicle.
  2. Place the Hitch Lock Housing under the coupling fitted to the trailer coupling.
  3. Fit the Shield to the Housing
  4. Insert the Barrel into Housing, which will cause it to pass through the Shield.
  5. Insert the Lock into the Barrel and rotate and push down until it slots into place (note: there is a nodule on the Lock designed to align with a notch located on the inside of the Barrel).
  6. Turn the Key 90 degrees anti-clockwise and remove.
  7. The Hitch Lock is now secure.

The Trailer Coupling Lock is designed to be fitted to the trailer when it is stationary and unhitched.
