Excellence in Education (EiE) Committee Update

​

• A∆K International Headquarters held a Zoom meeting for Regional EiE Chairs to inform us of the next steps in adjudication for the applicants.

Explanation of the rubrics to use was discussed.

Applications to review have been placed on the Kaleidoscope platform; we have 39 to review with a May 1st deadline.

PD Scholarship Report

As the SWR representative of the Professional Development, just a reminder that the application for the upcoming Regional Professional Development Mini-Scholarship (Spring) for activities between May 15 and November 15, are due April 15 (just two weeks from today) Remind your state presidents.

​

In the past, we have provided S/P/N officers with duties and responsibilities documents and PowerPoint slides. This biennium, we are adding duties and responsibilities videos and scripts. The videos and scripts elaborate on the information in the documents and PowerPoints and will enable officers to access the information whenever they want. The PowerPoints and scripts will also be available for those providing in-person and/or virtual learning sessions. All documents will be available in the Resource Library on the International website. You will be notified when they are available. In the meantime, we will continue to work on finalizing the rest of the scripts and then create the videos.
