OHIO’S GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

• 21 Credits
• Show Competency
• Pass the ELA 2 and Algebra 1 Ohio State Tests (OST’s)
• Career Focused Activities (x2)
• Military Enlistment
• Complete College Coursework
• Show Readiness
• Earn two diploma seals (one has to be a state-designed seal)

MINIMUM CREDIT REQUIREMENTS

• English 4 credits
• Math 4 credits
• Science 3 credits
• Social Studies 3 credits
• Phys. Ed. 0.5 credit
• Health 0.5 credit
• Art/Music 1.0 credit
• Electives 5.0 credits (including Financial Literacy)
• TOTAL 21 credits

CREDIT FLEXIBILITY

COURSE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

• All students in grades 9-12 must:
• Enroll in a minimum of 5 classes
• Worth at least .50 credits for the semester, or 1.0 credits for the year
• Fitness classes and Poms/Flags do not count toward OHSAA eligibility
• 5 credit minimum
• 7 course maximum
