My name is Betty. I'm 13 and I live in Sydney, Australia. �I live with my mom, my dad, and my brother.
My best friend is Lindsay. �She is super special because Lindsay knows everything about animals and works as a volunteer at the Sydney Wildlife Rescue. She helps animals in danger there.
Lindsay and I also love to go surfing. Our favorite beach is Bondi Beach. It is absolutely beautiful because of its transparent blue waters.

Usamos o conectivo because para justificar a nossa opinião. Veja outro exemplo:
“I like to go to the beach because it is beautiful.”
Note, também, que usamos o it no lugar de beach para não repetir a palavra beach na frase.
"... because it (the beach) is beautiful."
Lembre-se de usamos o it para animais, objetos e lugares, por exemplo. Para nos referirmos a pessoas, usamos os pronomes she ou he.�

Lembre-se, também, que, quando usamos o they, precisamos usar o verbo are: “... because they are so cute!”
