Entry To A Major (ETAM)

• All first-year engineers follow a general engineering curriculum
• If interested in chemical engineering, be sure to take CHEM 119 and CHEM 120
• After completing required coursework for the ETAM process, you will choose your top 3 engineering majors
• Depending on your grades, essays, and rankings, you will be selected by one of the engineering departments
• Cumulative GPA> 3.75 = Automatic entrance to your first-choice department
• National Merit Scholar = Automatic entrance to your first-choice department
