Assignment Objectives

  • Students compare two topics assigned by the teacher, using the Venn Diagram to identify similarities and differences.
  • Students work with a Paper Live Help tutor to get feedback on their ability to identify similarities and differences.

Teacher Instructions

  • After teaching two concepts or topics have students complete this graphic organizer to compare the two.
  • Step 2 of the worksheet has students log onto Paper to get feedback from a tutor.

Ideas for Use

  • Assign two readings and this worksheet to help students review and compare what they learned.
  • Use this as part of a review activity at the end of the unit where student compare two concepts they learned.
  • Have students work in partners to compare the two topics they learned and work with the tutor.
  • Extend this activity by having students write a paragraph or essay based on the Venn Diagram.
