The Strategic Plan of 2018-2023 laid a foundation based on the vision of over �100 representatives has for the future of Grand Blanc Community Schools. For months, leadership, facilities, athletics, and the GB Board of Education have been meeting with planning officials and architects to hash out what we can accomplish with these funds. The results are beyond exciting and will completely change the landscape at central campus, while providing massive, meaningful improvements across the
entire district.

All of this can be accomplished WITHOUT raising taxes!

PAST...
“BACK TO OUR ROOTS” Don Batchelor stadium (the current soccer field) was the football stadium when it was named in 1962, and Frank Thomas field was built in the summer of 1977, then named “Community Field.” The Don Batchelor field, named after the retired GB football coach, would become the new Grand Blanc Athletic Complex multi-purpose stadium in the proposed plan.

Central campus will provide a community hub where Grand Blanc residents and families feel safe and welcome, and a facility students and athletes will be proud to call “Home”. Bathrooms and concession facilities will be NEW. Entries and pathways will be efficient and safe.

RESULTS FOR ATHLETICS
Turfed baseball, softball, and multipurpose athletic/marching band fields will provide longer seasons, less canceled/rescheduled events and practices, more events allowed overall, and lower maintenance costs. The Marching Band will have first priority to �their own newly turfed field!
