We are the MediaWiki Stakeholders’ Group.

What are they doing with it?
MediaWiki Downloads
According to stats from MediaWiki.org there have been over 102,000 downloads of MediaWiki between May 18th and July 15th 2015.
A couple of caveats around all the data:
Bots are not filtered out of the download count (possibly with the intention to verify that the download is still available)
We cannot tell if the download succeeded, only that it started.

There have been over 74,800 downloads of extensions from MediaWiki.org between Jan and mid-May.
Over 570 unique extensions downloaded.
