1. HAVE YOUR STUDENTS COMPLETE THEIR LEVEL BOOSTER QUIZ

  • When your students first join Eedi they will be given a task to β€œTake Level Booster”. This is a 10-question dynamic quiz which we use to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The results of this quiz help us to ensure that we recommend the right level of topics to support their learning.
  • To find this they will need to scroll down to the bottom of their Learn page. Here they’ll find their to-do list with the Level Booster quiz.

2. RECOMMENDED TOPICS

  • We’ll recommend topics for students to work on that we believe will best enhance their maths skills. Their recommend topic will be their first action to complete on their Learn Page (unless they have any active classroom assignments set).
  • The topics that we recommend will be based on the results of their Level Booster quiz, year group and age.
  • Students can start working on their recommend topic by clicking the β€œStart topic” button.

3. CHOOSING TOPICS FROM THE TOPIC PATHWAY

  • Students will find their topic pathway within their β€œLearning” section on their Learn page, just below their current recommend topic.
  • Students can browse through the topics in their current pathway and choose what to work on.
  • They also have the option to β€œPreview” the first question in each topic, by clicking the β€œPreview” option.

3. TOPIC PATHWAY LEVELS

  • We use levels to group together quizzes and create different learning pathways for students. Students will be placed on a topic pathway level based on their previous quiz results.
  • Levels start off easier and increase in difficulty as students progress through them. Once a level of topics if completed, students will automatically move onto the next pathway level.
  • Students can also view and work on topics in other levels by using the β€œPrevious” and β€œNext Level” buttons at the bottom of their pathway.

4. SEARCHING FOR TOPICS

  • Students can search for topics using the search bar at the top of their β€œLearning” section.
  • If your students can’t find what they’re looking for after searching, they can choose to β€œChat with one of our tutors” for support finding suitable topics (this feature is available to Eedi Plus students only).
